Stuff.co.nz reports on a case where Douglas gets a dismissed teacher interim reinstatement.

A Maori language teacher has been temporarily reinstated at Auckland's Richmond Road School following a series of employment disputes and wider issues with the central Auckland school's immersion unit.

A recent Employment Relations Authority (ERA) determination ordered Richmond Road School Board of Trustees to give teacher Pauline Pile her job back at least until her personal grievance with the school over her dismissal had been resolved. Douglas acted for the teacher and got her reinstated on an interim basis until the substantive claim is heard.
